Canberra High School

Parents & Citizens Assoc.

The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) is a great way to stay informed, share ideas and be involved with our school.

The P&C welcomes all Canberra High families and community members. We are a group of enthusiastic parents and carers who contribute to the school and students through the uniform store, canteen, events, fundraising and more.

We work with the school to provide a forum for sharing information and ideas, run the second-hand uniform store, oversight the canteen, and help raise funds for activities, services and equipment.

We are always keen to hear new ideas that support our school and students. If you would like to know more or are able to offer some time or expertise, come along to a meeting or email:

P&C meetings are held twice per term on Tuesdays between 7.00 to 8.30pm in Weeks Three and Eight.

Join our next meeting to find out about our activities, share your ideas and hear updates from our Principal and Board.

For specific meeting dates refer to the Canberra High calendar on the school website:

Uniform Store

Our second-hand Uniform Store is run by dedicated P&C volunteers to provide families with a range of pre-loved and second-hand items at very competitive prices.

Please email to get in contact with the Uniform Store coordinator.

Second-hand uniforms can be purchased at parent information events such as the Year 7 information night and Meet the Teacher evening etc.

Donations of good quality second-hand uniforms can be left at the Front Office.

Canteen Sub-Committee

The P&C manages the Canberra High School Canteen to provide quality low cost food options for students and staff every day of term.

For more information on the canteen, menu and ordering:

The Canteen Sub-Committee is a part of the P&C Committee. We’re a small group of volunteers which consists of a convenor, a secretary, a treasurer, and a general committee member. New members always welcome to share the load. Our role is to provide oversight and planning to the canteen staff and are the liaison point between the P&C Committee and the school canteen. Our aim is for the canteen to be financially sustainable, and to give advice and support to the school canteen.

On average, we meet in Weeks Two and Seven each term.
